Hello, I am Mr. Ballard, the school counselor for Carson Elementary. I am a graduate of Crawford High School, home of the “Colts.” Life was good as a Crawford “Colt,” but it is amazing as a Carson “Colt!” I transitioned from high school to elementary counseling in March 2022, and I love working with little people! My focus is helping students manage emotions, solve problems, and attend school regularly. My retired colleague, Mrs. Susanne Hampton, referred to elementary school as our students’ “Origin Story.” I would like to support social and academic growth, help students reach their potential, and create meaningful life stories.
